This National Safety Month, learn about the benefits of driver assistance technologies presented by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

In this video series from NHTSA, discover how these driver assistance technologies can contribute to safer roads: 

  • Automatic high beams switch from low to high beams depending on detected light and traffic. 

  • Blind spot intervention helps avoid a collision by applying the brakes or steering if the driver begins changing lanes where a vehicle is detected in the blind spot. 

  • Lane keeping assistance gently steers the vehicle back into your lane if it detects lane drifting. 

  • Rear automatic braking applies the brakes if a potential crash is detected while in reverse.
